"The History of The Music Inn" - August 24, 2014
About 50 people came up to Bascom Lodge for a talk and presentation on Music Inn, many wearing Music Inn Tshirts, and a few with memorabilia in hand... some of which can be seen in these photos. What was truly remarkable was that before we began we had Bob Marley live at Music Inn playing and the website on the screen... a couple who just happened to be there said, "Hey, I was at Music Inn! And, I played there." and during the presentation Bob Shepard stood to tell stories about his days at Music Inn in the 50's. He just happened to be at the Lodge, not knowing about the talk...
It was a true experience of the legend that lives on and on... Ben Barber, whose parents started Music Inn when he was just a boy was there to share the story of the documentary, the history, and the lasting magic of Music Inn. Of course, Lee Everett was there to reconnect and reminisce with old pals and take some photos. We talked about the website archives at www.musicinn.org
and plans for upcoming events and reunions. Stay tuned for more photos, stories... and don't be shy... share your stories, photos, memories, and memorabilia here and at musicinn.org. THANKS!

The soft plink of tennis balls ricocheting off rackets filled the air on a recent Sunday afternoon at the high-end condominium development here called White Pines, sitting on a hilltop with stunning views of the surrounding Berkshire ridge lines. A sense of moneyed exclusivity wafts though the air now, but the soundtrack was once much different. Click to read full article.
